Mike Lynch Autonomy

As the furor over accusations that Autonomy defrauded HP dies down, there's one guy who doesn't want the attention to stop: Autonomy's former CEO, Mike Lynch.

Today he launched a blog defending his former company and his management of it.

The new site doesn't yet say much that he hasn't already said to media outlets like Business Insider directly. But it's an interesting one-stop shop for the Lynch point of view.

To recap: When HP announced an $8.8 billion write down last month, the company blamed it largely on accounting fraud it says it discovered at Autonomy, which it bought for $11.1 billion last year. HP is asking US and UK authorities for a criminal investigation. Lynch has flatly denied all allegations. He says that HP needs to do a better job explaining its math.

HP CEO Meg Whitman also said two former HP execs were responsible for the mess, CEO Leo Apotheker and former exec Shane Robison. Blaming Robison caused some waves, sources told Business Insider.

Meanwhile, it didn't take long for shareholders to launch a suit against HP, too.
