At its big launch event this week for the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, BlackBerry gave hundreds of journalists, analysts, and others in the tech industry its new phone, the Z10, for free.
Within hours, a bunch of BlackBerry Z10s appeared on eBay. It doesn't take a lot of guesswork to figure out where the phones came from. In some cases, bids are up to $3,000 or more.
The Z10 won't launch in the U.S. until mid-march, and will cost $150-$200 depending on the carrier. But if you can't hold out, there are plenty of unlocked models for sale on eBay.
