The Pope has officially retired, and has deleted all his tweets at his official @Pontifex Twitter account.

The old tweets are being archived on the Vatican's website here. Here's how the account looks now, under the cool name "Sede Vacante", which refers to the period in the Vatican where there is no Pope.
