9to5Mac points out that Apple has begun selling Micro USB-to-Lightning adapters for $19 on its website. Already available around the world, it's now available in the US.
One of these adapters paired with a super-affordable Micro USB cable (here's one for less than $2) can function exactly as your Lightning cable would.
The adapters currently ship from Apple in one to three business days.
