Rumors are swirling that Instagram is set to launch a new video feature this week. The addition would add Vine-like video to Instagram.
Facebook, which owns Instagram, has tried before to imitate popular apps and add them into its ecosystem. Remember Facebook Poke, the blatant Snapchat clone?
Facebook doesn't have the best track record cloning popular apps.
Will the same thing happen when Instagram supposedly launches a new video feature later this week? We'll just have to wait and find out.
In the meantime, if Instagram does launch video, would you ditch Vine and stick strictly with Instagram?
