Imagine if you can buy anything you see on Instagram, Pinterest or anywhere on the web with just one click.
Scott Belsky, founder of Behance, a photo sharing and promotion startup for artists and visual creatives, says that the visual web should become a universal store:
"Thinking years ahead, what if there is no such thing as a market place. What if, in fact, market place is not a destination but a given. Anywhere you see anything visual, the assumption you will have is that you can buy it online."
Belsky elaborated on the idea that may make Amazon obsolete in a panel on the visual web at our IGNITION conference this week.
